I almost thought this wasn’t true, but Kawasaki has released information that they have filed a preliminary patent on the device that will allow motorcycle helmets to have infrared night vision assistance!  Have you ever driven at night and that little beam of light emitting from that beast of a machine you call your motorcycles is barely enough to see a few hundred feet in front of you?  Well, worry no more!  Soon you could be the king of Night Riding and ride like this:

Just imagine!  Not more I wonder if that dark black mass is is a broken tire or not?  I wonder if that is a parked police cruiser with his lights off.  With the infrared night vision helmet you not only will know, but you will be able to see up to 300 feet more in front of you!  That extra boost at night can be a life saver!  Kudos to Kawasaki for bringing it to fruition.  Now I will be able to see stuff like this too:
